Now cavity will be a danger to itself

American scientists have researched that the bacteria which is responsible for cavity in tooth will be a danger to itself now and will be destroyed by its ownchemicals on which they used to feed.

The researchers at “Rochester Medical Centre” discovered a gene which helps in keeping the bacteria’s alive which is feed by the acid from our food. According to the researchers by making certain changes in this gene, we can kill those bacteria’s by its own nutritional system.

The bacteria “Streptococcus Mutans” (S. Mutans) which leads to cavity are feed by the enzymes “Biosynthes M” found in our body. According to researchers by controlling this enzyme, S. Mutans growth can be reduced to more than 10,000 times.

American scientists said, their main aim is to kill that bacterium by its own acid which leads to cavity in human beings. Let’s hope after that we get success in fighting those bacteria which has not effect by any antibiotic.
