Measures to avoid insomnia

In every 3 in 5 people not able to get a good sleep at night. There can be several reasons of it, but the main causes of insomnia are stress, eating habits and living standard.

Here are some methods to fight insomnia and get a nice deep sleep.

  • · Keep a regular routine. Set up a time to wake up and going to bed at night and stick to it. 
  • · Try to avoid stress. 
  • · Do regular exercise. 
  • · Avoid eating heavy or too much oily food at night and after eating go for a little walk. 
  • · Before going to bed have a glass of warm milk mix with a spoon of pure honey. 
  • · Always wear loose cotton & comfortable clothes while sleeping. 
  • · Sleep on your left side and avoid keeping high pillow. 
  • · While sleeping listen to soft music or read your favourite novel or magazine. 
  • · Bathing before going to bed is really helpful in a good sleep. 
  • · Turn off lights in the room to sleep. 
  • · Put light-coloured sheets on the bed and always keep your bedroom clean.

Humans don’t have any other option for sleep. Nature has provided us the precious gift of sleep. So, take insomnia seriously, know its reasons and try to keep it away from you.
