A woman is the icon of motherhood. In this fast pace life she has to take care of several things in her life andbecause of which she doesn’t able to keep his attention on many important things. One in every 22 Indian women suffers from breast cancer. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has given this alarming information.
Experts say if it taken care of in time then breast cancer can be cured. In India every year, 80000 new cases of breast cancer are recorded. In the world last year, 13 million new cases of breast cancer are recorded. Lack of physical exercise, obesity, blood sugar levels, child at older age, not able to breast feed the baby and not having proper cancer awareness are some of the main reasons of this.
After certain age Mammography should be done once or twice a year. It has been learned that among 20 to 30 percent ofsuch women who have breast cancer don’t have any family record of such disease. So it becomes very important for every woman to undergo Mammography once or twice in a year.
